Thanks for your interest in [Hutson’s] Souvenirs for the Soul Cabins on Camano Island.
Camano Island is an hour north of Seattle in the Olympic rain shadows with road access via the Mark Clarke bridge at the north end of the island.
The naming of Souvenirs for the Soul Cabins evolved from Souvenirs of the Soul Art Gallery which I ran for 13 years in downtown Stanwood. Three years ago I was given complete creative license when hired to remodel both the mobile and cabin for the previous owners. My daughter Stella and I live on Camano Island and, after the remodel, when the owners decided to move, it became apparent to me that this property was an unexpected gift for my daughter and myself; and that the creative redesign could provide opportunity and serenity for ourselves and many others. The beach with views of Whidbey Island and the Olympic Mountains is only steps away and outside either unit is instant access to the peaceful back yard and gardens.
This propety offers two separate rentals; a 1-bedroom 100-year old artfully redesigned cabin nestled under the branches of a stately fir tree and a 2-bedroom fully remodeled and expanded mobile. Rented as a double unit the facilities accomodate up to ten guests and are well suited for conferences, artist classes, retreats, vacationers, transitioners and reunions. The rentals are both fully furnished and available nightly, weekly, monthly and as 6-month winter rentals.
Souvenirs for the Soul Cabins is only 20 minutes from I-5 (Exit 212) and 10 minutes from Stanwood, where you will find numerous dining, entertainment and provisioning opportunities!
